313-1, 5, 6, 7, & 9 - Ford Type III, E-450, Horton 523D 14,050 lbs Medic units are equipped with an inverter and 2- 500 watt quartz lights for onscene lighting. Indoor/outdoor custom cabinetry made to make onscene care delivery easier. 313-6 & 313-7 are both recent rechasises. 313-5 is a new style 2007 Type III, E-450, Horton 523D with the lastest in module suspension system.
313-4, a 1994 International Harvester 4600lp with a MedTec Modular Ambulance A reserve unit, is being designated the new rehab. unit for LMFD. This unit will carry special cooling fans, digital thermometers, an abundance of towels and other cooling products, to help LMPD SWAT members and LMFD personnel deal with emergencies in inclement weather. This unit also goes outside of Lower Merion Township as requested to provide its needed services.
313-2 - AEV Type II Ambulance (2002) This medic units is primarly assigned to the Conshohocken station (313-A) for better navigation thru the streets of Conshohocken and West Conshohocken Boroughs. Take a look inside one of 313-1...see a 360 view of the ambulance!!
Medic Responder Units
313-28 Medic Responder (2001 Ford Expedition) A fully equipped 4 wheel drive unit, this QRU responds primarily in Radnor Township. Communications equipment in the unit allows the medic to talk to Montgomery, Chester, & Delaware Counties. 313-8 Command Vehicle (1997 Ford Expedition) Used by the on-call officer, this unit is primarily for incident command and MCI coordination throughout VMSC's coverage area. This unit also serves as a reserve unit incase 313-28 is out of service.
