Every month, VMSC hosts a training event. Some classes are open to all care providers, while others are specifically targeted towards Basic Life Support (EMTs), or Advanced Life Support (Paramedics). Participation in regular training events will offer adequate credits for National Registry Recertification. All classes are open to prehospital providers from throughout Montgomery County and the greater Philadelphia region. Annual courses include blood borne pathogens updates, Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, hazardous materials updates, and incident command, as well as regular lectures and skill review sessions for BLS and ALS providers.
